Sedan man killed in motorcycle mishap
A 22-year-old Sedan man was killed in a motorcycle mishap at the Sedan City Park late Friday night. The Kansas Highway Patrol says John D. Thomas, 22, of Sedan while driving what was described as a 2003 Honda “mini motorcycle” in the park at about 8:45 p.m. Thomas left a roadway and attempted to cross the park when the driver struck a cable and was ejected off the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol says Thomas was not wearing a helmet at the time of the mishap.
