The Fist Christian Church of Sedan will present “Miss Emily” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3.

“Miss Emily” is humorously portrayed by Cindy Powell of Coffeyville. She has been performing this monologue for a number of years. In addition, she has shared music as a ministry since 2002. Cindy will perform “Evertyime” which she has dedicated to her mother who has passed away. Her performance will include: several songs from the past; a presentation of Miss Emily; and close with songs for her mother and the 2007 flood victims.

The public is invited to attend and join the church members for a light meal following Miss Emily’s performance. The meal will be served in the basement of the church.
