The Chautauqua County Farm Bureau Association is sponsoring a tractor pedal pull for children at the 4-H fair. The pull will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 25. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. on the midway.
The ages for each class are from 4-7 years old and 8-12 years old.

Each contestant must be able to pedal the tractor without assistance. All contestants must wear shoes.

Each class pulls on the same tractor with the same sled. The pulling tractor must stay between the lines of the pulling lane at all times, if the tractor leaves the pulling lane, the distance will be measured from the starting line to the point of the front of the pan.

In case of a tie, there will be a pull-off to determine the winner. Anytime the forward momentum of the tractor stops, the pull is over. This includes the foot slipping off the pedal. A sanctioned operator will provide vouchers for the first and second place winners of each class which entitles the contestants to participate in the state pull at the State Fair in September.
