• 14th Judicial District Judge: Russell Canaday, Independence, (R); Gary House, Sedan, (R); Robert W. Lattin, Independence, (D). A primary election will be required on Aug. 5 to narrow the field of Republican candidates to the top vote recipient.

• Kansas House of Representatives, 12th District: Jeff King, Independence, (R); Sandra Frisco, Independence, (D).

• Kansas House of Representatives, 79th District: Kasha Kelly, Arkansas City, (R): Gene Burr, Arkansas City, (D).

• Kansas Senate, 15th District: Derek Schmidt, Independence, (R).

• U.S. Senate: Pat Roberts, Dodge City, (R); Lee Jones, Overland Park, (D); Jim Slattery, Topeka, (D). A primary election will be required on Aug. 5 to narrow the field of Democrat candidates to the top vote recipient.
