A reception will be held Friday, May 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to honor Barbara Williams who will retire after 20 years service at the Sedan City Hospital.

The public is invited to attend the reception which will be held in the entryway of the hospital. Finger foods will be served and everyone is invited to come consider this as their lunch.

Friday will be the exact 20th anniversary of Barbara’s employment with the Sedan City Hospital where she serves as business office manager.

She plans to spend lots of time with her husband, Richard, in her retirement and spending more time with their nine grandchildren.

The Williams have three sons, Cody, who works for the Post Office in Sedan, Gerald who works for Consolidated Well Services in Sedan, and Tray who also works for Consolidated in Sedan.

“I will miss seeing all my friends at the hospital,” Barbara said. “And of course I will miss the patients, families and others who often come to the Sedan City Hospital.”
