CANEY — Sedan Jr. High tracksters earned numerous medals at the Caney Valley Invitational Meet held last Tuesday, April 15.

First-place champions in the boys’ events included Austin Filtinberger in the seventh grade 75 meter hurdles (14.23 seconds) and Bryson Zimmerman in the seventh grade 1600 meter run (6:05.70).

Katie Allison picked up three gold medals in the eighth grade girls’ competitions, including the long jump (14 feet, 8 inches), 100 meter sprint (13.24 seconds) and the 200 meter runt (29.3 seconds).

Those Blue Devil tracksters to earn second through sixth place medals at the Caney Valley meet included:
