A new wellness and fitness center has opened at 129 N. Wabash in Howard, operted by Elk Konnected.

The building is owned by See-Kan which is leasing it to Elk Konnected, LLC.

Elk Konnected’s Youth Development Action Team will be hosting a free day camp for 7 to 12 year old children.  Konnected Kids will be held Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Seven high school students will serve as camp counselors throughout the five week program.  Campers will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, eat lots of good snacks, socialize with other campers and complete a variety of art and craft projects. Read more
