Saturday, June 5, is the date for the countywide clean-up in Elk County.

Since it will be the first Saturday of the month, the recycle trailer will be in Longton and Elk Falls starting at 9 a.m. (Longton) and moving to Elk Falls from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. However, the big news that day happens at the Moline Rodeo Grounds.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., there will begin an e-waste collection team accepting all electronic devices from TV’s to cell phones to CD and DVD Players, microwave ovens, patch cords, and chargers. This event is made possible by a Butler County grant. Read more
