Hot weather is forecast for the rest of this week, and swimming pools in Sedan and Howard will be ready for anyone eager to cool off.
The Sedan pool has actually opened and Lynette Kill, manager, said the water is just the right temperature.
Admission prices for the Sedan pool are: Adult $3.00; 12 and under $2.50; family pass(immediate family) $130.00; adult season pass $80.00; child season pass $70.00. Pool parties from 6 to 8 p.m. will be $75.
The pool telephone number is 725-3151. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. seven days a week. Swim lessons will begin June 21. There will more information at a later date.
The Howard City Pool will open for its summer swimming session on Saturday, June 5. The pool will be open seven days a week with regular hours from 1 to 6 pm.
Once open, the Howard pool will take enrollment for swimming lessons and the swim team. The first session of lessons will run from June 21 through July 2. The second session is from July 6 to July 15. All sessions are in the morning, the hours will vary depending upon which classes students are enrolled in.
The swimmercize at Howard will begin June 14, with the Early Birds at 6 p.m. and the Get Your Fix at Six class at 6 p.m.
All prices have remained the same, according to Susan Galvan, manager. “I’m delighted that in today’s economy, we’re able to have no price increase this year.”
