Several area towns will be active with children hunting Easter eggs this weekend at various Easter egg hunts. Check the list below for activities in Elk and Chautauqua counties.

Pleasant Valley Manor Skilled Nursing will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 10 and under on Friday, April 2 at 2 p.m. Elder Rabbit will be available for photo opportunities. The hunt will be held on the front lawn of Pleasant Valley Manor Skilled Nursing at 613 East Elm, Sedan. Don’t forget your baskets!

The Moline Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m. in the city park. In the case of inclement weather it will be held in the Moline fire station.

The City of Longton will be hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Claytor’s yard on Easter Sunday, April 4. Richard and Kay Claytor invite all kids, ages 0-10, to bring their baskets and hunt for eggs. The event will begin at 2 p.m. Win a prize for finding the silver and gold eggs!

Due to the weather forecast, the Sedan Area Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 3, at 1 p.m. at the 4-H Building in the Sedan Park. The Sedan Area Chamber of Commerce is currently holding their annual Easter Basket Fundraiser. They are selling chances to win a basket for either a boy or a girl for $1 each. Tickets for the girl’s basket can be purchased at the First National Bank of Sedan, where the basket is on display. The boy’s basket is on display at the Bank of Sedan, where tickets can be purchased for it. The winners of the baskets will be drawn Saturday, April 3 after the Easter Egg Hunt at the 4-H Building in Sedan.
The East Egg Hunt will begin at 1 p.m., with four age categories. Group #1 will be ages 0 to 3 years old, group #2 will be ages 4, 5 and 6, group #3 will be ages 7, 8 and 9, and group #4 will be ages 10, 11 and 12. There are many surprises waiting in the Easter eggs to be discovered. The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures.
There is no cost to attend the Easter Egg Hunt. So, bring the family, both old and young and spend the afternoon.

The annual City of Howard Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 3. The Easter Egg Hunt will be in Jackson Park. It will start at 10 a.m. and will be open for ages 0-10. The Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Howard Chamber of Commerce and Howard Twilight Manor.

An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 at Grenola City Park. The Grenola Community Club and the Royal Neighbors have made an arrangement with the Easter Bunny to visit Grenola. He will be leaving Easter eggs in the Grenola City Park for children to hunt. All children and grandchildren are welcome to attend.
