Sedan man claims $1,003 in groceries

dscf0027Dave Parsons of Sedan was shown to be a happy man after making a wild dash through Floyd’s Market last week.  He won the bid for a three-minute shopping spree at Floyd’s at the Sedan Area Foundation’s recent benefit auction for the Emmett Kelly Museum. Also pictured is Trisha Roudybush. The cash register in the background showed Parsons collected $1,003.84 in merchandise during his thee-minute dash with a grocery cart. While bids went high on most items at the auction, this grocery-shopping spree was the one that pulled the most attention — and dollars for a good cause.
