Organizers of the Sedan Alumni Reunion are preparing for the 119th annual event, scheduled for Saturday, May 23 at noon, at the Sedan Fair Building at the City Park.

Tickets are available for $15 through Saturday, May 17.  After that date the cost will be $20 until Friday, May 23. The day of the banquet the cost will be $25. Tickets are available at the First National Bank of Sedan, The Green Door, the Bank of Sedan and Sedan High School.

Tickets may be reserved over the phone by calling Sedan High School at 725-3186. Tickets reserved over the phone may be paid for at the door. However, no-shows will be billed for tickets that are not cancelled by Thursday evening, May 22.

The Sedan High School class of 1944’s 65th class reunion will be celebrated at the alumni banquet at noon on May 23. Following the banquet classmates will gather at the home of Gloria Brosius at 203 S. Harrison in Sedan.

The class of 1959 will hold a cookout on Friday, May 22 at Janice Todd’s house on Highway 166 and the old Havana/Caney crossroads.  On Saturday, after the banquet, they plan to meet at the home of Mike and Shelly Todd at 317 N. Spruce in Sedan.

The Sedan High School class of 1974 will hold their reunion at Dave and Debbie Chrisman’s home, 506 W. Cherokee in Sedan, at 2 p.m. (or immediately following he alumni banquet) on May 23.

The Sedan High School Class of 1979 will meet for their 30th class reunion on May 23, at 2 p.m. at 113 W. Cherokee in Sedan. For more information call 620-725-3486.
Sedan High School’s class of 1984 will meet for a reunion on Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m. at the Ranch Restaurant in Sedan.

The Sedan High School Class of 1994 has changed their reunion to Saturday, May 23 at 4 p.m. at the Chautauqua Springs. The Alumni Committee would like to ask that all classes having specific reunions to please help us continue a very new tradition called the “Sedan Alumni Reunion Fund.”  They are asking each class to help us create a fund to financially assist all types of Blue Devils’ scholarships activities and athletics.  Information and donation envelopes will be available at the banquet.
