Coffeyville man indicted on bank robbery charge

TULSA, Okla. — Federal indictments have been returned by a federal grand jury in two recent Tulsa area bank robberies.

The most recent robbery occurred Aug. 2 at the Arvest Bank on East 36th St. Twenty-year-old Joseph Paul Beeson, III and 35-year-old Chantz Germaine Patterson of Tulsa and 28-year-old Calvin Shobe of Coffeyville, Kan., were all three indicted on weapons and robbery charges in that hold-up. Two of the three were caught less than one mile from the crime.

There was no word on possible trial dates.
