COFFEYVILLE —The Coffeyville Chamber of Commerce will sponsor two forums for political candidates seeking office for the Coffeyville City Commission, USD 445 Board of Education and the Coffeyville Community College trustees.

The forums will be held on Saturday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 29 in the Coffeyville City Hall Commission Room and will be televised on the local access channel.

The general election will be held on Tuesday, April 5.

Yvonne Hull, chamber director, said each forum will be specific times for candidates to address issues. At the March 5 forum, the times will be divided in the following manner:

• 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. — Coffeyville City Commission candidates.

• 11 a.m. to noon — Coffeyville Community College candidates.

• 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. — USD 445 Board of Education candidates.

At the March 29 forum, the candidates will have the following times:

• 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. — USD 445 Board of Education candidates.

• 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — Coffeyville City Commission candidates.

• 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. — CCC trustee candidates.
