COFFEYVILLE — A routine traffic stop by Coffeyville police on Thursday, Jan. 20, lead to the discovery of methamphetamine, stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
Commander Mike Brown said a patrol officer stopped a vehicle with an illegal tag near 8th and Northeast streets shortly before 1:30 p.m. Upon further investigation the officer found the three occupants in the car were in possession of methamphetamine.
The three occupants were arrested and two search warrants were obtained, one for a residence located at 1504 S. Elm in Coffeyville and one for the vehicle that the suspects were in when stopped by officers.
Officers of the Coffeyville Police Department executed the search warrant on the vehicle and seized additional paraphernalia.
Arrested were Dennis H. Glimpse, age 32, of 1504 S. Elm; Hollie K. Adcock, age 31, of the same address; and Kimberly M. Manookin, age 31, of 111 S. Walnut.
Brown said Glimpse will be charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine; and possession of lithium metal with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
Adcock faces charges of felony possession of drug paraphernalia; conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, he said.
Manookin will be charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia; conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine; misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; and illegal tag.
Brown said the charges stem from the discovery of items in the vehicle. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department issued the search warrant at the 1504 S. Elm, where more charges could be filed against the individuals.
