A Toronto, Kan., woman was kill and two Neodesha people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on an icy highway in Montgomery County on Monday, Jan. 10.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Sally J. Donaldson, age 63, of Toronto was killed when her 1996 Ford Aspire, which was southbound on U.S. 75 highway between Independence and Sycamore, went into the northbound lane and collided with a 1991 Toyota 4Runner driven by Gary D. Branham, age 47, of Neodesha. Branham and a passenger, Kimberly D. Branham, age 43, were taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of medical injuries.
The patrol said icy road conditions was believed to be the cause of the wreck.
