Cherryvale area residents are invited to participate in a Christmas lighting contest sponsored by the Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their homes in holiday regalia and lights. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, Dec. 15 with the judging to be held during the evening hours the following weekend.

Announcement of winners will be made at the Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce website and Facebook page as well as the Montgomery County Chronicle, which plans to have a video of the winning entries.

The top three winners will receive $100, $50 and $30 in Cherryvale Bucks, which can be used in local businesses.

Persons wishing to enter the contest should fill out an entry form at any participating Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce business or by clipping out the attached form and mailing it to the Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 112, Cherryvale, KS 67335.
