COFFEYVILLE — A southeast Kansas native whose voice and face are synonymous with the excitement of professional rodeos and bull riding will return to his local roots by serving as the announcer at the Coffeyville Inter-State Fair and Rodeo.

Justin McKee, known as the official voice for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), will serve as the Coffeyville rodeo announcer for three of the four nights — where he will don his trademark cowboy hat while riding horseback in the rodeo arena at Walter Johnson Park. McKee will announce at the rodeos on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Aug. 11-13.

COFFEYVILLE — Final touches are being applied to Coffeyville’s Walter Johnson Park this week in preparation for the largest regional fair in the tri-state area.

The 102nd Annual Coffeyville Inter-State Fair and Rodeo begins on Saturday, Aug. 7 in Coffeyville and will run through Saturday, Aug. 14 with numerous events for the entire family.
