COFFEYVILLE — David George was selected to fill the vacant Coffeyville City Commission seat at a special commission meeting on Monday night.

However, it took city attorney Paul Kritz to cast a tie-breaking vote in order for George to assume the seat left vacant with the recent resignation of commissioner R.J. Warren.
