Seven applicants for Coffeyville City Commission seat

COFFEYVILLE — Seven Coffeyville residents have expressed interest in seeking the vacant city commission seat created with the recent resignation of commissioner R.J. Warren.

The seven applicants for the commission position include:

• Peter Berick, 1805 Valley View Drive, owner of Tavern On The Plaza.

• Mark  Frank, 503 Centennial, theatre instructor at Coffeyville Community College.

• David L. George, 1912 W. Sixth, owner of David George Dream Home Builders.

• Rex W. Jerrim, 2408 Parkway Ave., former City of Coffeyville electrical department director.

• Joseph Thomas, 604 W. Sixth, #1, former reporter/editor of the Coffeyville Journal.

• Corban Leon Webber, 414 W. First, employed at Amazon.com and retired with the U.S. Army Reserves.

• David E. Yarbrough, 201 S. Edgewood Drive, retired military.

The Coffeyville City Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 28, at Coffeyville City Hall to interview applicants.
