INDEPENDENCE — The Kansas Mission of Mercy dental clinic held in Independence on Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17, treated 1,439 patients with dental care valued at $1.065 million. The project also provided 3,556 tooth extractions.  More than 800 volunteers were involved in the two-day clinic.
