A Cherryvale woman was injured in a one-vehicle wreck on U.S. 160 highway on Wednesday night, Nov. 25.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says Barbara L. Sanders, age 53, of Cherryvale was westbound on U.S. 160 highway four miles east of Independence at about 7 p.m., when the vehicle went into the northbound ditch and driver overcorrected. The vehicle one then went into the southbound ditch where it overturned and came to rest.

Sanders was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of injuries. She was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
