4-H Key Award winners announced

4h1 COFFEYVILLE — Montgomery County 4-H members were saluted for their accomplishments at the 83rd Annual Montgomery County 4-H Achievement Banquet on Tuesday.

Held at Community Elemetary School, the dinner event attracted more than 150 4-H members and their families.

Three veteran 4-H members were given the coveted 4-H Key Award, which is given to the top one percent of all 4-H’ers in the nation. The award recipients include Zach Hershey of the Rambling Rangers 4-H Club, Shannon Blaes of the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club, and Craig Fentress of the Flying Frontiers 4-H Club.

First-year members who were saluted for completing their first year in 4-H were Brendan Anderson, Cord Dodson, Shaylee Boatman, Shanell Boatman, Meegan Dunham, Jacob Keene, Garrett Koslosky, Jared Metcalf, Kayla Maulsby, MacKenzie White, Coty Wilson, and Brandon Wilson.

Among the other 4-H award winners announced at Tuesday’s banquet were:
