A motorcycle chase on Monday afternoon between Coffeyville and Dearing netted the arrest of three people who were wanted in Missouri on various felony warrants.

Sheriff Robert Dierks said that he observed two white males riding motorcycles in the area of Eighth and Buckeye streets in Coffeyville at about 5 p.m., Monday. Dierks said the two motorcyclists were driving their vehicles in an unsafe manner. When Dierks began to pursue the two motorcycle drivers, the motorcyclists fled, racing through Coffeyville westbound on Eighth Street and eventually onto U.S. 166 highway.
