Coffeyville police are looking for a black male who robbed the Braum’s store on West 11th Street early Sunday morning, May 24.

Commander Mike Brown said the armed robbery took place at the store at about 6:30 a.m.  An unknown black male entered the store through a back door, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the business. The store’s employees complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect then left the business through the back door and fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 and between 140-160 pounds. He was wearing black clothing and a black bandanna around his face. He also was carrying a black backpack.
