CHERRYVALE — A western theme will be the centerpiece of the Lincoln-Central Parent-Teacher Council’s Carnival set for Saturday, May 2, at the Cherryvale Middle-High School. The carnival will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and is open to the public.
There will be a variety of games and activities for youth, including pony rides, calf roping lessons, flying pigs, leap frog and farm limbo. Kids can try to their luck with bingo games or by beating the dealer with “Lucky 7 or 11” games.
Among the other games will include country golf, miniature golf, redneck golf, dartboards, balloon pop, and baseball throw.
There also will be a cake walk, a country store, photo booth, frisbee toss, fishing pond and face paintings.
Among the other events planned for the carnival is a raffle for a rose/floral factory quilt. The drawing will be held at 8 p.m. The raffle winner needs not be present to win.
The quilt is king size and comes with two pillow shams.
Chances also are being sold for another quilt: a homemade Charger-colored quilt.
A raffle also will be held for a 2-year-old bay stud colt.
