A drug raid at a rural Cherryvale home on Wednesday night, Jan. 28, resulted in the arrests of two people.

Sheriff Bobby Dierks said William E. Lowe and Brenda K. Moge were arrested after a search warrant at the home at 4083 CR 5700 — about four miles south of Cherryvale — resulted in the discovery of a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also found during the search.Dierks is recommended the following charges be filed against Lowe and Moge:

• illegal possession of anhydrous ammonia

• attempted manufacture of methamphetamine

• felony possession of drug paraphernalia

• misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

“The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reminds the citizens of Montgomery County that methamphetamine continues to be a problem in the community,” said Dierks. “With the help and support of the citizens of Montgomery County, we continue to be proactive in our enforcement.”Lowe and Moge remain in the Montgomery County Jail.
