With all the snow and bad weather several games have been rescheduled.  Just wanted to let everyone know all the new dates for Oswego High School basketball games.

Chetopa @ Chetopa Feb. 14-JV boys will start at 5:00 followed by Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.  There will be no JV girls on this date.

Uniontown @ Uniontown Feb. 17-JV girls will start at 5:00 followed by Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.  There will be no JV boys.  JV girls will only play 3 quarters.

Northeast @ Northeast Feb. 21- JV boys and Varsity Girls will begin at 6:00.  Varsity Boys will follow the Varsity Boys.  JV girls will not play.

The 4th Annual Veterans Day Program will be held at Oswego High School at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11.

Harvey Fry is the speaker. The public is invited to help celebrate the veterans.

The Oswego High School Fine Arts Night will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11. The OHS music, art, and drama departments will hold a Fine Arts Night in the high school commons area.
The choral section of the fine arts performance will, in keeping with the theme most prevalent in mid February, centering around five songs about love and relationships. They will range in style from contemporary tunes such as “Stand By Me” and Journey’s “Open Arms” to the classic Gershwin tune “Someone to Watch Over Me” which features two of our students as soloists. Queen Rayvn is the daughter of Floyd and Tina Ash, Alicia is the daughter of Jake and Cheryl Gurnee and Amanda is the daughter of Skip and Julee Riley. Crown bearer was Madison Brannin, daughter of Mark and Chris Brannin and ball bearer was Landon Dean, son of Charlie and Nichole Dean.

The Oswego Indians knocked out the Uniontown Eagles in Tuesday’s KSHSAA state football bi-district game opener 59-7, in front of a large crowd at Arrowhead Stadium.

Oswego, will now  play Olpe on Saturday, Nov. 7, with kickoff time will be at 6 p.m.

The Oswego Indians football team will travel to Sedan this Friday night, Oct. 23, for a 7 p.m. district game.
The Indians are undefeated this season and they have high hopes for a state berth.
Coach Andy Fewin is urging all Indian fans to attend the Sedan game and “turn their stands into a sea of red.”

Oswego High School football homecoming queen is Jessica Bates with her escort Matthew Dickinson. Jessica is the daughter of Corey and Christina Bates and Matthew is the son of Tori Dickinson and the late Matthew Dickinson. They are both seniors.

The crowning was held last Friday night before the Oswego vs. Sedan football game.
