Spirited poltical races across the country will draw to a head next Tuesday, Nov. 2, as voters go to the polls for the general election.

Oswego’s yearly fall festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 25 and all activities for Oswegofest will take place in the downtown area.
Each year Oswegofest has a special button for admission to its annual event. There will be button drawings for $500 in cash on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Read more

Special tribute given to those from Oswego who lost their lives during war

The official ending of World War II was commemorated last Saturday evening on the lawn of the Labette County Courthouse in Oswego by local veterans and other citizens.
Lonie Addis, a veteran of the Vietnam War, served as master of ceremonies and Jeanie Dalton
