Things started moving into place for an Oswego native TJ Fuller, just by answering a flyer on a bulletin board at Cal Arts, where he just graduated.
The flyer was made by Nathan Murray, a programmer, who was looking for an artist for iPhone games.
The two began working together on app games, and five months into one game, they saw that it wasn’t going to work, so they started working on another game. Three months into that game, it too wasn’t a fit, so it also was trashed. “We almost gave up,” Fuller said.
Murray has a two-year-old son and they decided to develop an application for toddlers two years old and up.
“Jacob’s Shapes” is a delightful game of simple puzzles for young children. It provides shape recognition and Fuller did the artwork. “We are very excited about it,” Fuller said after it came available on iTunes in August for the iPhone or the iPad. Read more
