ALTAMONT—Jimmy A. Johnson, 68, of Altamont, Kan., died late Tuesday evening, Aug. 3, 2010, at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected. He is survived by his wife, Judy Johnson, of the home.

Richard Lee Overma

WELCH, Okla.—Richard Lee Overman, 62, of Welch, Okla., formerly of Oswego, Kan., died at Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at his home.

Following cremation, the service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14 at Faith Baptist Church in Chetopa. Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa is in charge of arrangements.

PARSONS—Ann McKnight, 66, of Parsons, Kan., died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at Labette Health in Parsons.

Graveside service swill be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Springhill Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends at Carson-Wall Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Delores (Whitson) Marcus

PARSONS—Delores (Whitson) Marcus, 76, of Parsons, Kan., died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at Labette Health.

After cremation, the service will be in Junction City at a later date. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at Junction City. Local arrangements are under the direction of Carson-Wall Funeral Home.

Frank I. Breeze

PARSONS—Frank I. Breeze, 69, of Parsons, Kan., died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. He had been in failing health.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

Delmar E. Tincknell

ATWATER, Ohio—Delmar E. Tincknell of Atwater, Ohio, formerly of Cherryvale, Kan., and an LCHS graduate, passed away Thursday, Aug. 5.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at the Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Potts Funeral Home, Cherryvale, Kan., with interment in Fairview Cemetery.

The family request memorials to be sent to the M.S. Society or National Historical Society in lieu of flowers.
