Two principals’ positions were filled Monday, July 19 at a special USD 504 board of education meeting.
Following the resignation of Rod Wittmer, high school principal, the board approved the transfer of Cynthia Sanders from the Neosho Heights principal’s position to the high school principal’s position. The board then reassigned Janie Allison from her current Title I teacher position to the Neosho Heights principal’s position.
Also approved were activities director positions: Andy Fewin, high school and Neal Cruise, middle school.

The USD 504 board of education attended the Oswego City Council meeting on July 12 to discuss the ballfield project. Following that meeting the board of education met for their monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 13. With the help of the district’s attorney, Fred Johnson the BOE made changes to the last June 14 letter to the city. That letter has been sent to the city counselor Rick Tucker for review.
