OSWEGO—Lawrence “Lee” McCulley, 86, of Oswego, Kan., died at 9:15 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 19, at Oswego Cemetery with Pastor John Stone officiating.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, 302 Merchant, Oswego, Kansas 67356.
Murdock Funeral Home of Oswego is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Edna J. McCulley, of the home in Oswego; two sons, Danny R. McCulley, Henderson, Nev.; and Matthew J. McCulley, Columbus; two daughters, Connie S. Pogue, North Hatsfields, Mass,; and Beverly J. Walker, Inola, Okla.; one brother, Lowell McCulley, Centerville, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by one son, Lucky Lee McCulley, and one sister, Evelora Eastland.
