Six months later Diamond Coach Corp. of Oswego has completed rebuilding their structure that partially destroyed the south half of the building on January 13.
President Dick Seybolt of Diamond Coach Corp., said that Labette County had received an extensive amount of snow on Christmas Eve and on Christmas causing accumulation of snow on the back south side of the building. The drift started melting in January with the temperature was warm, causing the drift to dam up on the roof. The roof of the 37,000 sq. ft. structure collapsed under the weight. Read more

The monthly Labette County fair board meeting was held at the fair board office in Oswego on Wednesday, June 30. The meeting was called to order by President Steve McKinzie.
