An Oswego man has taken his engraving business to a new level.
Glenn Fischer  started his Laser Creations business in 1988 before retiring from the postal service in 2002. Laser Creations provided awards for individuals, groups and businesses.   Read more

A financial institution was approved at the ending of the month regular commission Friday at 8:30 a.m., for three dump trucks.
Commercial Bank of Oswego received the bid of a loan purchase agreement for three dump trucks for in the amount of $262,876 at 3.9 percent interest.
The first payment will be due July 1 for $69,763.17.
Two commissioners approved the purchase of three dump trucks from Joplin Freightliner Sales. The trucks should be delivered on June 3.

Mound Valley Flagpole is hosting a Consignment Auction on Saturday, June 5. The seller makes 90%! The other 10% goes towards the 2010 Flagpole Festival.
It will be held in the Mound Valley Grade School gymnasium. You may drop off until 10:30 a.m. that morning. The sale will begin at 12:30 p.m.
