Alumni graduates from Labette County High School held their annual “Alumni Banquet” on May 8, 2010 in the LCHS Cafeteria. There were 445 meals served by the LCHS Cafeteria staff.

Chris Kastler, President, class of 1979 welcomed all the alumni and guests, Dr. Chuck Stockton, Superintendent and Mary Anderson, Principal.

Ron Allison, Vice President, class of 1966 welcomed the class of 2010 who will become Alumni after May 22. Music department directed by Randy Blackwell preformed 3 very good numbers.

There was one alumni form the class of 1936 and two from the class of 1939. Several class were holding reunion in class rooms before the meal.

Those receiving scholarships were as follows:

Class of 1942 with $300 to Leah Charles.

Class of 1944 to Bryant Traxson for $250

Class of 1951 gave 2 - $150 to Laura Mateer & Jordan Hills.

Class of 1955 $150 to Alexis S. Carter.

Class of 1956 gave 2 - $250 to Katie Rohling & Ryan Robinson

Class of 1959 $400 went to Chelsea Manley.

Class of 1953 & 1954 gave Chelsea Manley a $1,000.

Class of 1958 $200.00 to Brannon John Green.

Class of 1960 gave 4 - $500.00 to Kylie Thomas, Michael R. Sexton, Tricia A. Cares, Kacie Rae Eberhart.

Class of 1966 for $250.00 to Jordyn Linthicum.

Class of 172 gave $250.00 Scholarship to Jaia Hucke.

Class of 1979 gave 2 - $200.00 to Aaron Pearce & Nathan Pearce.

Katie Rohling received the Ron Lewis Memorial Scholarship.

LCHS Alumni Association – a 4-yr. Scholarship of $2,000.00 to Logan Britton.

Homer & Marcie Phillips Family Scholarship of $1,000 went to Tyler Lee Julich.

Joseph Garret received the Arthur Adamson Scholarship of $500.00.

Duane Testerman Memorial scholarship of $500.00 given to Keanan D. Smith.

Laura Huneycutt Kuykendall (class of 1984) memorial of $500.00 was give to Katie Rohling.

The Raymond & Donna Kline Family Scholarship of $350.00 to Rachael Triebel.

The Angola United Methodist Church Scholarship of $300.00 to Stonewall Acridge.

LCHS Alumni Association or $240.00 to Cory Sharer.

Quincy E. Hicks (class of 1956) Memorial of $250.00 to Anthony Whittley.

Jim Crumpton (class of 1963) Memorial of $250.00 to April Middleton.

Scott Williams Memorial Scholarship to John Hambleton of $250.00

Natalie Neal-Lattimore Scholarship of $250.00 to Shelby Mattox.

David M. Graham (class of 1963) $500.00 given to Nathan Pearce

Gene & Daisy (Mourning) White (both Class of 1957) gave 2 - $250.00 to Bryant Traxson & Shelby Reazin.

Music Scholarship in Memory Of Imogene North went to Danae Carter in the amount of $250.00

Music Sholarship in Memory of Alma Lee Shell to Kelsie O’Connell for $250.00

Marvin Foster Cave (class of 1931) & Mary Louise (Cave class of 1935) Allen Memorial Scholarship for $200.00 to Shelby Chapman.

Gary L. Stice (class of 1972) Memorial Music Scholarship of $150.00 to Paige Almond.

A bucket was passed around and $1,000.00 was received for Scholarship in 2011.

Prizes were given for the oldest person there, who came the farthest distance & who had a birthday on this day.

Roll call was asked for by calling years and whose in that year stood up.
