The City of Oswego will recognize Denton Hardware and Fred Denton for continuous involvement in the business since 1963 when Fred and Goldie Denton purchased Gossard Hardware. The recognition will be at City Council meeting at 6  p.m. at City Hall on Monday, April 12. The public is invited to share in this accomplishment.

Labette County Commissioner Lonie Addis has filed for re-election, he said Monday. This will be his eighth term as the District 1 commissioner.
