Samantha M. Heady, a psychology and sociology major from Oswego, and Jason A. Landrum, a commercial graphics and marketing major from Mound City, have been named the outstanding seniors at Pittsburg State University for 2010. As such, Heady and Landrum will have their names inscribed on the senior walk in front of Russ Hall and they will each address the graduates at commencement May 14-15.

Samantha is the daughter of Paul and Karen Heady of Oswego, and Jason is a Mound City native.

“The Missourians” will sing at the Altamont First Baptist Church on Saturday, April 24, and the public is encouraged to attend the 7 p.m. concert.
The group of five musicians are based in Joplin and are well-known throughout the region for their tight harmonies, upbeat concerts and soul touching songs.
They have recorded 12 albums and two videos including their latest release “His Amazing Love.”
A free cookout will be held at 6 p.m. preceding the music concert.
