
Diamond Coach Corporation built nine buses that were used to carry the torchbearers in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay.
The relay began in Canada on Oct. 30, 2009 and concluded at the Opening Ceremony in Vancouver on Feb. 12, 2010.
The relay was over 100 days in length and over 1000 communities and places of interest were visited by the torchbearers carrying the Olympic flame.
There were 12,000 people who had the honor of being an Olympic Torchbearer and helped carry the flame to Vancouver. Over 45,000 kilometers were traveled.
Diamond Coach Corporation is located in Oswego and builds buses and large specialty vehicles.
