Robert J. “Bob” Brown
CENTRALIA, Ill.—Robert J. “Bob” Brown, 74, of Centralia, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Garnier and Sons Funeral Home in Centralia with the Revs. Alan Nolman and Buck Withrow officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park near Centralia.
Memorials in his honor may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
Bob was born on April 23, 1935, in Chetopa, Kan., son of John Cecil and Cinderella Florence (Mills) Brown. He graduated from Chetopa High School.
On Jan. 30, 1960, he married Barbara Agnes Nettles in Centralia. She preceded him in death on Jan. 30, 1999.
Mr. Brown was a retired welder, plumber and pipefitter. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 653, the American Federation of Musicians Local 798 and a life member of the Centralia Moose Lodge and Centralia Elks Lodge. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by two daughters, Terry Brown of Freeburg and Tonya Schwartz and husband Darin of Walnut Hill; three sisters, Betty June Withrow of Chetopa, Kan.; and Jo Ann Copple and Pindy Nollman of Centralia; three grandchildren, Bailee Winkler, Blaike Schwartz and Logan Zirkelbach; a nephew, Bob Withrow, Jr., and several other nieces and nephews.In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James N. Brown.

PARSONS—Albert Neil Dierolf, 77, of Parsons, Kan., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Good Samaritan Society in Parsons.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, at Apostolic Lighthouse Church. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Pittsburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Thursday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons evening.

PARSONS—Robert K. “Bob” Shaw, 61, of Parsons, Kan., died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Elmhaven West nursing home in Parsons. He had been in failing health.
