An Altamont woman was inducted into the Southwestern College Athletic Hall of Fame in Winfield during a ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 7 .
Lori Green was one of six Southwestern alumni to be inducted into the athletic hall, which is located in Stewart Field House. Read more

After 16 years of serving as head coach for the Labette County High School Grizzlies football team, Craig Hartman has resigned.
Hartman led the Grizzlies to 11 winning seasons and a trip to the Class 4A state playoffs this season.
He started his teaching career at Edna Grade School then moved to the high school where he took over coaching the freshman boys football squad. Read more
