The Third Annual Veteran’s Day Program will be held on Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Oswego High School Commons Area.
The program will be directed by Jeanne Dalton, the State Treasurer of the VFW Auxiliary. Mayor Tom Bringle will give the welcome. Music will be by OHS and OMS students under the instruction of Robert Harris. A retired adjutant quartermaster of the State of Kansas VFW will be the guest speaker.
The director is asking for pictures of veterans’ to display. Roberta Brightman is making a power point collage of the pictures. The number of pictures has doubled since last year.
The public is invited to attend this special program.
