o-quilt-classwebQuilt Show this Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 6-9 p.m., Oswego Community Building

These ladies in “Your Stitch Matters” class are making flags for veterans and for First Sergeant Darren Dwyer and the soldiers of the 329th Battalion for the sacrifices they make. First Sergeant Darren Dwyer is Wendy Dwyer’s husband. The group wants to support and thank the soldiers. They are true heroes in the eyes of the members of the class, and they want to let them know how much they are appreciated. These flags are something to hand down through future generations. The class salutes all veterans on Veterans’ Day. God Bless them and today’s troops as well and God Bless America.– Pictured are L to R–Flossie Rea, Carol Holmes, Wendy Dwyer, Judy Roberts and Bobby Ray.                              –By Flossie Rea, Instructor
