Brian Holderman, well known sports and news photographer in this area, will produce a series of photo pages for Labette Avenue, according to Rudy Taylor, publisher.
Holderman worked for many years as staff photographer for the Parsons Sun.
“We’re glad to work with Brian to produce these pages,” said Taylor. “His work in photography is exceptional.”
Today’s edition features photos from last Friday’s game between Labette County High School and Independence High School. Next week’s edition will feature a similar page with photos from the football game between Oswego High School and Erie High School to be played this Friday night, Sept. 11.
A third page will feature a home football game at Chetopa High School.
“We will continue to cover sports just as we always have done,” said Taylor, “but Brian’s pages will provide some nice feature shots that local fans will enjoy.”
