The Mound Valley Flagpole Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27. The activities will take place in the Mound Valley Community Center. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to enjoy an action-packed day.
There will be Karaoke, chili cook off and ice cream freeze off, contests and games for the kids on Friday evening, June 26, from 5 p.m. until late evening.
On Saturday there will be a 5-K run/1 mile fun walk, baby swimwear contest, booths and displays, petting zoo and pony rides, a parade, pony pull, carriage rides, inflatables, square dance performance, dunk tank, turtle race, garden tractor pull, and a junior high performance, wiffle ball games, softball games, Rick Cook and Seminole, dinner and fireworks to name a few. This exemplifies a small town festival at its best.
