Sheri J. Jarrett

COLUMBUS—Sheri J. Jarrett, 34, of Columbus, Kan., died Friday, May 15, 2009, at the St. John’s Maude Norton Memorial Hospital in Columbus after a sudden illness.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 20, at the First Christian Church in Columbus with the Reverend Dick Glasgow officiating. Burial will be in the McKee Cemetery, northwest of Columbus. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus.

A memorial has been set up for the Children’s Education Fund.

Lynne Allen

PARSONS—Lynne Allen, 91, a resident of the Elmhaven West Nursing Home in Parsons, died there Friday, May 15, 2009.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., just before the mass. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.

The Carson-Wall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and friends may call there on Monday to sign the register.

Mary Evelyn (Billy) Stocking

COLUMBUS—Mary Evelyn (Billy) Stocking, 85, of Columbus, Kan., died Saturday May 16, 2009.

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m,. Wednesday, May 20, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus with Reverend Dennis Johnson officiating. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date in Arkansas City, Kan.

Rorbert “Bob” L. Debald

PARSONS—Robert “Bob” L. Debald, 88, of Parsons, Kan., died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Elmhaven East nursing home.

The body will be cremated. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, at Carson-Wall-Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Scaletty officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, 67357.
