Her service will be held Saturday, May 24 at 2 p.m. at the Murdock Funeral Home, Oswego, with Pastor Paul Wiand officiating. Burial will be in the Oswego Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. at the Murdock Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

PITTSBURG—Darrel Charles Sherwood, 57, of Pittsburg, Kan., died a 4 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008, at his home. He had been in failing health.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services are pending.

OSWEGO—Kenneth M. Hoy, 89, of Oswego, Kan., died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Labette Health in Parsons, Kan.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, at the Murdock Funeral Home with Rev. John Stone officiating. Burial will be in the Oswego Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.

COFFEYVILLE—MayBelle Buetow, 80, of rural Coffeyville, Kan., passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.

Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the Mound Valley Cemetery at Mound Valley, Kan., with Rev. Richard Peckman of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating.

Friends may call on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
