Citizens join forces to help clean up Severy
On Saturday, Aug. 23, members of the Elk Konnected organization, SCA, and other Severy citizens joined forces to improve the physical image of Severy by cleaning several areas of the community.
Approximately 33 school age volunteers, many of them volleyball and football players, volunteered their work. There were also 25 adult volunteers. The day was spent mowing, trimming, cutting brush, washing, and painting.
The community of Severy would like to thank Elk Konnected for providing the lunch and all of those who helped make the town look and feel great.
