Elk Konnected to host appreciation day in Severy
The Elk Konnected Physical Image Action Team is hosting the Severy Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 23.
All volunteers should meet at the Senior Center on Main Street. Assignment of projects will begin at 8 a.m. All help is appreciated whether it be for all or part of the day.
Lunch, free to all participants, will be served at the Senior Center also.
All youth and adults interested in helping the Elk Konnected community are encouraged to attend.
Volunteers who can provide string trimmers and chain saws are asked to do so.
The Physical Image action team has held several successful events in the communities of Elk Konnected. These events provide improvement to the physical image of the community while also providing Service Learning opportunities for local youth.
