The Elk County Farm Bureau Association will host a candidates’ forum at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, following the fair parade in Longton. The forum will take place at the show arena at the Longton fairgrounds.

Candidates for local and state offices have been invited to participate. The forum will consist of questions provided by Kansas Farm Bureau and presented by members of the Howard Leos Club.

After the forum, candidates may wish to take questions from the general audience.

The public is invited to this free event.
